Stargazer Trail

This magical Sedona hideaway is a quaint escape from the noise of the city, nestled in among trees with a flowing creek nearby. Our client uses it as a personal vacation home and was hoping to make it more renter-friendly for potential future use. With that in mind, we focused on incorporating furnishings and finishes in durable and low-maintenance materials. We wanted to keep the rustic charm while adding in some elements of modern sophistication. For this moderate remodel, we kept the original pine tongue and groove ceiling in a cognac finish and introduced contrast with black and cream walls. With the existing architecture and large-scale windows, the home already felt at one with the outdoors. We leaned into that aesthetic, incorporating natural tones and textures and prioritizing indoor-outdoor flow.
