Hillside Place (Main Areas)

Our clients were building a custom home and called us in to help with adding in function, classic style, and practical materials. The home was quite vast, so proper proportions and scale was key for creating balance. The space was designed for indoor-outdoor living, so we incorporated shades of blue to reflect the sky and pool outside and make it feel like a seamless experience. We even added hidden pockets in the great room ceiling for the window treatments so that the view could be enjoyed without obstruction. We added small connections for cohesion, like utilizing the wood flooring tone on the great room beams and exterior porch ceiling. We selected timeless tile materials and laid them in classic patterns for a completely timeless aesthetic.
